for the adventurers
The *only* real advice I will provide to engaged couples, is to follow your heart. This applies not only to your future spouse, of course, but also to how you choose to celebrate your union.
If the thought of planning a traditional wedding is daunting, or simply not the right move for you, consider focusing your energy on each other, in the form of a private ceremony.
Each elopement package includes documentary-style coverage of your ceremony, couple's portraits, and unlimited high-resolution image downloads. As a photojournalist at heart, it's my absolute pleasure to capture intimate sessions like these, and I'd be honored to be your choice of photographer.

FAQ
Is my wedding considered an elopement?
What makes an elopement special is the element of privacy that you're choosing. A true elopement invites only the couple, an officiant, and a witness. (In cases where you're hiring a photographer, we can serve as your witness.), to the ceremony. A small wedding (or "mini-mony" as they've been adorably nicknamed) is open to a small group of close friends and family. I offer this type of coverage with the ELOPEMENT + package, which includes candid and formal group photos.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in the Philadelphia area, and frequently travel to the surrounding counties and tri-state area for sessions. Locations > 50mi from Philadelphia will require a travel fee and/or overnight accommodations.
We're getting married on top of a mountain... Is that ok?
Short answer: Yes. I'm down for the adventure!
While I'm not a wilderness expert by any means, I am a physically able and happy to traverse through the wilderness with you, if your location calls for that. I have some hiking/camping experience, practice weekly strength training, and find joy in the combined artistic and physical challenge that shoots like this entail. Please reach out to discuss specifics, including travel/traversing fees.
How many pictures will we receive?
While every session is unique, I typically deliver 50-75 images per hour of coverage. Images are delivered within approximately 10 weeks from your event date. A preview gallery of favorites will be sent out within the first couple weeks.
