Love is a Wild Thing

True to its title, this is a story of a love that Kacey Musgraves would describe as "a wild thing". A secluded farm resting on a hillside in Shenandoah Valley was the perfect setting for the second shoot in my Elopement Inspiration series. What began as a styled shoot became so much more. Brace yourself, then please enjoy.

Some Backstory:

The *obviously professional* models in this set are two of my dear friends, Sydney and Geo. I asked them to help with my Elopement Inspiration series, and it's safe to say they were inspired, because the two of them decided to actually get married! These two embody the vision for this shoot beautifully. Witnessing their connection inspires me to love deeply, and express it authentically and unapologetically.

"Love is a Wild Thing"

by Kacey Musgraves

I can feel it, magic in your fingertips

And I can hear it in the words coming off your lips

Even if you lose me, I will find you

There's no way to stop it, so don't try to

Running like a river trying to find the ocean

Flowers in the concrete

Climbing over fences, blooming in the shadows

Places that you can't see

Coming through the melody when the night bird sings

Love is a wild thing
